There are many metals and minerals and other substances, such as wood, in Amystra that are used to make the weapons that your characters could buy or already have in their possession. Here is a list of the different substances and facts about them if you wish to use them.

No New Posts Eryrul Isle
A peaceful isle that hasn't seen much in the way of politcal change or revolution for many, many years now - this is the most infamous isle on all of Amystra. It houses the Summoner's School, despite the fact that the major cities on the mainland have insisted it should be moved, and this is the largest isle of them all. Many, many different beings make their home here, but it's lack of mountainous and rocky regions means dragons and other mountain-dwellers are rare.

No New Posts Sylver Island
A small island that will never be large enough to have a real city, this is another politcally quiet island without much military force. For this reason, it is another sort of hide away for creatures of non-violent nature or demeanor. Unlike the other islands, this has nothing of special value on it, and is either a town setting or a large meadow.

No New Posts Gallasana Isle
Also known as "the Isle of Many Angels" for great number of very old, slowly crumbling angel statues scattered throughout the Isle. Each angel points in a particular direction, however, and so many believe it to be some kind of map or sign to a hidden location, while others believe it to be part of some prophecy. The truth behind the statues is unknown, but many exploeres have since proven the statues do no coincide with the others nor point to anywhere specific.

No New Posts Rhodilis Saladea
The largest ocean-side city in Amystra, Rhodilis Saladea is home to the world's largest port and some of the world's best seaside resorts. It is very much a city that relies on the tourist an fishing industry for it's income, but the economy here is independant from the larger, more integrated system in Amystra Central. Therefore, the economy here has never gone into recession nor collapsed.

No New Posts Xenacarva Meadow
A meadow named after the olden city, Xenacarva, that once stood here, now it is only a large expanse of ground with areas of old stone that looks like it might once have formed a structure or building. Exceptionally large, but oddly this place lacks true wildlife - the only animals around here are small and are shy and very hard to see.

No New Posts Zenocarva City
A large city that's name was based on the ruined city of Xenacarva, this is one of the most advanced weapons and magic cities in the world. With many rare and common metals alike there are many weapons being forged every day. The city is also called the Holy City, as there are so many crosses being made each day the undead naturally stay away from the city for safety of their "lives".

No New Posts Rosin Meadow
This meadow is much like Xenacarva, except it is lacking in ruined old building structures and instead has small areas of trees scattered around. This makes it a more popular place for hunting than the other meadow, and there are a good many roads that go from the city of Zenocarva to the Amystra Central.

No New Posts Rosin Path
The path that stretches from Zenocarva, through Rosin Meadow and then through the first large, somewhat wild and almost savanna-like expanse of Amystra Central was named after the meadow it starts in/leads into fr simplicity's sake. It's a long walk, but there are plenty of stops and the area around the path, while wild, is not desolate and there are lots of things to use to make camp with as well, should you feel like stopping.

No New Posts Iterion
Another advanced city, but this one in terms of magic, Iterion is home of the largest magic school in Amystra and provides many people with education of the magical kind provided they have the money to pay for it. However Iterion is also the only city in Amystra Central free of slums, which says something about the amount of money people in the area have.

No New Posts Cloaked Forest
The forest between Iterion and the rest of Amystra, this place is a forest you must travel through in order to reach Iterion or the Doghouse Slums on either side of it. This forest gets its name from the mist that shrouds it early in the morning and in the evning and throughout the night, and on some days the fog always remains. It is a most perfect place for an ambush.

No New Posts Doghouse Slums
Technically these slums used to be a city, but the city and it's economy fell into disarray when leading nobles left for better places, and slowly over the years the place turned into the largest slum in Amystra. Thieves and guilds make their home here because of how poor the area is and it makes a great hideaway, many bandits have also moved in around here. No respectable person stays in this area for long or even comes near it if they don't have to.

No New Posts Estium Mining Town
As the name suggests this is a mining town, that at first glance you'd probably call bigger than a town. This is a relatively middle class area, but at the same time the town is likely to survive and grow over the years because it is the main, biggest supplier of metals to other industrial towns, like Zenocarva.

No New Posts Centra Mountains
Estium was conveniantly placed next to a large set of four mountains, the Centra Mountains - and over the years the mountains have had pathways hollowed out through them during the mining process. There are still plenty of things the mountains provide the miners with, rare metals included, but the mountains also offer a home to mountainous creatures. Conflict between the dwellers of the mountains and the miners is rare, but it happens, and it's usually very bloody when it does.

No New Posts Ravaged Path
To the north west of Amystra Centra comes a small cave, which then later turns into a path through rugged, practically rocky and mountainous terrain. Again this place if a good place for ambushs, and is the only way to get to Amystra Central from the north east of the mainland. Only well prepared, well defended people travel this path alone or in small groups.

No New Posts The Phoenix Gate
An exceptionally old gate that has a story of some kind etched into the bricks that make it, Phoenix Gate is one of the only ruins in the world that not a single person has ever dared vandalise or destroy in any way. The story upon the gate has been described as a prophecy, and is named Phoenix Gate because it was once part of the olden Phoenix City. The path from the Centra Mountains into New Phoenix City in the south is the only way to get to either place by foot - and many go by foot so they can stop and look at Phoenix Gate on the way.

No New Posts Myst City
Myst City is a city of practical education, it does not teach magic or how to fight, but instead logic and politics. It does not involve itself with trade from other areas of the mainland much, and avoids trading with objects that originate from any of the isles or islands as far as possible. The people within this city are a variety of classes, there are nobles and lords around, the working class and Myst City has it's areas of slums too.

No New Posts Grey Grass Plain
A plain that, although the grass covering it is healthy, is always grey because of the colour of the grass. Nobody knows why this grass is grey because it is perfect grass in every other way, but people theorise that it is a mineral in the ground that causes the discolouration. Therefore, there are many deep holes throughout the plain that travellers should watch out for.

No New Posts Moth Lake
One of the largest expanses of water on the mainland of Amystra, this water is said to be the purest around. It gets it's name from the number of moths that appear at night later in the year. Generally, it's a very pretty seen. However, the grass around this area is also grey.

No New Posts Watersplit Town
Named for the fact that the town is split in half by a river that runs from Moth Lake to the ocean, this town likes to try and portray the image it is neutral in politics and is a great place for everyone to live in. However, this is merely an illusion, for a close inspection of both halves of the city, one half is clearly better off while the other is a poorer, more violent area.

No New Posts Northwest Coastline
The coastline of the northwest is stunningly beautiful compared to the rest of the rest of the northwest, and down the cliff faces can be seen many holes and caverns that are rumoured to hold riches for anyone brave enough to try and explore them.

No New Posts New Phoenix City
Unlike the eastern area of the mainlands, the old Phoenix City, which was naught but ruins itself like Xenacarva when people first found the area, were pretty much knocked down and a city, New Phoenix City, was built to replace the old one. Some of the ruins still remain scattered as monuments throughout the city, giving the place a sort of olden style feel to it that attracts many tourists. However, New Phoenix City is very large, and is not advanced in the ways of weapons, religion or magic - described as "neutral". For this reason, and for the population of those living in the city, many vampires have made a home here.

No New Posts Freywick
Freywick is a peaceful little place - a large expanse of land most similar to a moor if anything. It's never seen great violence or battles, but for saying that it is said many little orbs of light appear every now on then on moonless nights, drifting aimlessly like lost little souls.

No New Posts Falcon Mountain
A mountain that once probably used to be one of the Centra Mountains until the landscape was shaped and changed by the forces of nature, this is the only lone mountain on the Amystra mainland. It is also somewhat small, and is namd because it used to home many falcons before the birds were hunted to near extinction. Always riddled with naturalists now trying to find the elusive remains of the falcon species on the mountain, many a being has disappeared on this place, meaning many others will keep to the bottom of the mountain rather than scale it.

No New Posts Stonehollow
On the southern coastline is the town-growing-into-city Stonehollow. Again, a large port based area, this is another centre of trade on the mainland, with ships leaving to go to Rhodilis Saladea in the east and the islands and isles with port towns. It's a pleasant town, but has it's fair share of ghost stories - and the slowly growing area of poor inhabitants also seems to house many odd buildings that lead off deep undergournd...

No New Posts Oldwyvern Island
Once the home of an ancient dragon that was named Old Wyvern by the inhabitants, this particular island is in constant disagreement with the Isle of Mistdell. The difference in governing and politics has eventualy led to a practical war between the two, and there have been plent of recorded incidents on Chaos Island when Oldwyvern sent it's constantly growing army there. This island is famous for it's elite military and excellent soldiers and is a great place for any warrior to train.

No New Posts Chaos Island
The largest island in the chain that therefore gave the group of islands it's name, Chaos Island is a place constanly ravaged by war - and not of it's choosing. Caught between the Isle of Mistdell and Oldwyvern Island, Chaos Island is a troubled place with a constantly spiralling economy. Many creatures who thrive on danger live here, as it is a the battleground for the armies of Oldwyvern and Mistdell when they clash, and every other living being on the island is trying to keep the port in tact so they can flee to safety.

No New Posts Isle of Mistdell
An isle that is famous for it's training of magical combat, the army of Mistdell is small but powerfull. There are many elves that have origins here - as this was once a pure elven island before the humans inhabited it and installed their own governing system. Since then the elves have either been drawn into combat with Oldwyvern or they have left for better, more quiet places. Either way, this island is a great place to come to hone offensive magical skills.

No New Posts Isle of Angels
An island which many people find the name ironic - since it is in the Chaos Island Chain - this island is said to have been the home of many thousands of angels once upon a time. With direct links to the Isle of Aeons - an island that has been drifting slowly closer and is now within walking distance over the Great Bridge, the angel population has dramatically decreased, and yet this is still the best place to come to try and spy an angel.

No New Posts Great Bridge
The bridge that has been built by mankind now links the Isle of Angels and Isle of Aeons, and is a great tourist attraction in itself for being the biggest bridge currently in existant. The walk between the two isles is a somewhat long one, but the views are incredible. Some people have been known to jump from the bridge while diving, although this is not recommended as some have died from doing so.

No New Posts Isle of Aeons
The best place to learn how to succesfully summon an Aeon - for those master summoners out there - it is said that this island is the closest point on Amystra to the Plain of Ages where all Aeons live. Although this point has never been truly proven, the success rate of summoning has made it a practical second home for summoners and even magicians, and this Isle seems to radiate a constant sense of magical power. For this reason it seems that dragons and other magic-sensitive creatures are drawn to avoid this island.

No New Posts Plain of Broken Dreams
The plain where all summons, excluding Aeons, live and reside until called upon by a summoner in Amystra. It is typicall busy, a large plain with limitless bounds, but it has never been viewed by the human eye and only summons can exist here.

No New Posts Plain of Ages
The home of all the Aeons, this place is far quiter than the Plain of Broken Dreams due to the smaller number of creatures that can inhabit it. This plain of existance can only be accessed by Aeons, and any other creature will die upon entering. Therefore, only Aeons will be found here.

No New Posts Paragon
Once a spirit leaves the body after death, it does not remain on Amystra, but instead travels to Paragon - realm of the dead. This expansive plain seems cold and desolate at first, as it is extremely large, but you're bound to have souls encounter others with some exploration. Consisting of cities, fields, forests and almost an exact, etheral copy of Amystra, it is theorised that it is a plain existing parallel to that of Amystra and there is therefore a way to return to the world of the living. Such a way has not yet been found, and the theory remains unproven even after centuries of souls trying. It is possible to be killed in this realm just as you would the living realm, but the difference is you will never go anywhere else, merely reappear back in Paragon at some given point in time.
